Well, I think some of them do realize it. They could lose their job (in this economy, no less) or get in a lot of trouble for insubordination if they don’t follow orders, don’t you think? It is scary. They were out in fill force in Encinitas, yesterday, too. Not on the scale of this protest, but for the same purpose.
The whole world is watching. This country is founded on protest. Don’t the police realize their health care benefits and pensions are in jeopardy too?

I think part of what I’m getting, here, is a lesson in identity and humility (eye roll). Am I what I do or what I have…seriously?! Aren’t we so much more? We are meant to contribute, right? ….to make a difference….we are here to love each other.
